Tom Ahmad is a chartered accountant, licensed insolvency practitioner and co-founder of Bailey Ahmad Business Recovery – a South London based firm that provide solutions for business and individuals in financial difficulty as well as coordinating the structured closure and distribution of assets of successful companies that come to the end of their life. Tom is also the current ICAEW Croydon District Society president.

Tom grew up in a multicultural household, living above the delicatessen/grocery store started by his Italian grandfather in the early 1970s. Open 7 days a week, the whole family mucked in. Tom remembers stacking shelves as soon as he could reach them, going to the Cash and Carry on the way back from school, serving customers, and being introduced to the accountancy world early on by being responsible for the book-keeping in his early teens.

These days, as well as being a specialist in business recovery, Tom is a passionate mentor, problem solver and an active investor in the debt recovery and accountancy space. Tom is a budding artist, lover of classic cars, but above all, a family man who is committed to his amazing wife Gillian and their four brilliant kids.
