Martin Perry was born without hands or the bottom half of his left leg. Through involvement with Drumchapel TT Club, which provides table tennis classes for young people from an area of multiple social deprivations, including those with disabilities, he was able to pursue table tennis recreationally before witnessing London 2012 and being inspired to take up the sport full time. Martin has won over 55 medals representing GB and is very grateful for the life his disability and, of course, table tennis have given him.
