This week was “Roald Dahl day“, celebrating and honouring his unique genius. This quote circulated and moved me.
On the #BeMoreYou page on this site, I give an expression of what I offer to clients, to #BeMoreYou, and express that as:
- Be Hungry
- Be Humble
- Be Brave
- Be Open
Chances are, if you are reading this, you are drawn to the Dahl quote above. I certainly am. My work and who I work with are an expression of these sentiments for me.

One of my personal favourites of the several hundred posts I’ve written so far on this site is “ok is not ok“, which also features a powerful image.
As I wrote in the post:
“We all have the choice to live an “ok” life, to lead an “ok” business, to shine a little, but not risk shining and burning out. Have you, will you “risk absolutely everything you’ve got for the smallest chance that something absolutely amazing could happen” ?.
All of this is a choice. Not everybody who risks everything achieves something absolutely amazing. What is for sure is that 100% of those who do not try won’t.”
Ok is not ok
Lukewarm is no good.
