Choosing art that has meaning

Six months into a new house and my study is coming together, so it feels like the time to choose which artwork to put on the walls, for which I always have an emphasis on choosing art and objects in my sight line that have meaning to me.

I love the work of Hugh McLeod and have a number of his limited edition prints as well as a commission. One of my absolute favourites is this copy from the “Think Different” TV commercial by Apple, a print that Hugh did in memorial of Steve Jobs shortly after he died. I am now going to mount it directly above my monitor (an Apple iMac, of course!) to remind me, always, that:

the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
