Make your intention at least a little bit scary

scary

Yesterday’s daily post highlighted the updated home page wording and focus of my site and was entitled: Are you ready to make a Massive Impact in 2022?

I’ve already had some responses to this, plus some relevant conversations with clients, mentees and others around their intentions, goals, vision, targets etc for 2022 and beyond.

One thought to share is that I encourage you to make the intention you set for yourself and your business at least a little bit scary.

In an earlier post (see here) I noted: “There is no growth without stretching”…I often think back to the words of the wise Kate Dunne, who taught me to “find the comfortable uncomfortable”

The words on my site are there to help people who are considering working with me to assess if I am a good fit. It, therefore, starts with looking at who they are, as in:

Massive Impact
You are already a visionary, successful and making a difference, yet you remain hungry to make an even bigger “dent in the universe” for yourself and your organisation.

It then looks at what I provide in the section called “Actionable Insights”, then how we can work together, under “Elevating Leadership”.

My choice is to work with leaders who are ready for a “What’s Next?” that feels brave, that therefore feels at least a little bit scary. In other words, the choice of the words “Massive Impact” is very much deliberate, they are there to help people check in with themselves as to what their intention is.

Here’s to the combination of being at least a little bit brave and scared at the same time. My clients know that feeling, and also know that I am there to support them and give them the confidence they need to succeed and thrive. After all, my own intent, my purpose, is #MakingPotentialPossible.
