I seek to inspire others in life and in my work. Spend more time with those that inspire you.
Last Friday evening, late in the evening (from 8 pm to 10 pm my time), I sat at my desk for a meeting, strong black coffee in hand due to the time of day. Caffeine was absolutely not needed, as this board meeting was for a charity in Canada, with every board member passionate, committed and dedicated to their cause and to making a difference.
I have the privilege to support this charity each year in facilitating their annual board retreat, hence sitting in on their board meeting (via Zoom, naturally) was part of preparation for this. Despite the time of day for me, I left that meeting after 10 pm totally energised and inspired by the group.
I seek to inspire others in life and in my work, Friday night was a reminder of the value of spending time with those that inspire us too, all “spinning up the virtuous circle of “Inspire:BeInspired”. Who inspires you?
