I rarely feel inspired to compile a list, social media style, but my friend Steve Moore recently posted a great list of tracks that stir his soul. Something clicked (plus I was procrastinating about painting door frames!), so here is a list of twenty tracks that stir my soul, move me, give me goosebumps.
Music is and always has been a big part of my life. Each track here I have listened to many times and each has meaning for me, with several of them marking or carrying me through key moments, such as Nightswiming by REM, a track I wrote about (with the picture above of one of my sons) in “Quiet Leadership – Night Swimming”
This list was compiled in just a few minutes. Music that truly moves is always right there to be called upon.
I hope you listen to one or two of these tracks, and would love you to share your list.
