Is it time for me to be radical and stop or change this blog?

This is post 1786 on this blog, the vast majority of which have been written daily, with breaks very rare over the last five plus years. There is a lot to be said for consistency, and with over 800,000 words written and live on the site I feel I have both shared and learned. That said, of late I have been musing on making some changes in and around my work, though the shifts I have been considering have been incremental ones, as I am most contented with what I am doing, why, and how.

Most recently, I have paused the blog for the last week. No particular reason, simply an instinct. I then found myself today taking time between meetings in London and went to RSA House for lunch. As I finished my warming stew I looked at the plate underneath.  “Radical” it said. Is the universe sending me a message? 😉

If you are a regular reader, I’d love to hear from you. Shall I continue with daily posting? Post less often but in more depth? Stop entirely? Something else?

PS the context for this blog has been two-fold. First, I write to share learnings. Second I write to develop my thoughts. One learning to re-share is around a matrix I use around risk:

As you can see, I am considering the top right of the “Risk:Impact” matrix, the “Radical” approach. I am therefore considering what impact (positive) it may have if I change or stop my daily writing to leave space for something new.
