Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards ~ Soren Kierkegaard
A holiday Monday (here in England) reminder to self and others to live life forwards.
The last few years have been very tough on everyone with the pandemic. Add to that we have all, I am sure, had other challenges. For me, the largest one was my cancer journey from March to July this year. However, with my context of “Carpe Diem!” I am now very much focussed on “living life forwards”.
It is important to understand the past and to understand the impact that has on us in the present, however, once we have all of that in place in our minds, let us live life forwards.
After this holiday weekend, England “switches back on” in September regarding business. There are many challenges and opportunities with each business and with the broader economy, so I am excited to play my part in supporting individual leaders and their businesses in #MakingPotentialPossible. The business side of life is one area where I am focussed on living life forwards. On a personal level, the next month or two will be very full, from family events to one son coming over to start University, to house sale and house purchase as I get ready to move to a new place, to a first overseas vacation since before the pandemic. Carpe Diem, or as my friend Morgan Da Costa often reminds me: “No Ordinary Moments!”
How are you living life forwards?
