Santorini, and no, I am not on vacation right now 😉
As regular readers will know, life slowed down a lot for me from March until July due to a relatively brief, though tough, cancer journey. Now, however, I am raring to go with life (Carpe Diem!) and also, as I love what I do, with work.
The thing is, though, the northern hemisphere is in the usual summer “slow” mode, particularly in England, where schools often don’t go back until the second week of September and where there is a holiday weekend coming up, which means that many with families take the last week of August and first week of September for final vacations before school starts back.
All of this means I am raring to go but, to quote Inspector Clouseau: “this is not the time!”.
So, today, Monday 22nd, I am seeking to be patient and wait for the world to catch up with me in terms of enthusiasm, energy and focus to get back to the big and transformative ideas and work that can drive change in leaders, leadership and for business and the broader world.
Oh, and if you are ready to roll now, give me a call, I’m happy to NOT wait until September 😉
PS I’m not on vacation now as don’t have school-age children anymore. I’ll be heading off in the latter part of September, somewhere in Europe that is still warm. Hmm, maybe Santorini, haven’t been there since 1990!
