Knowledge Speaks, Wisdom Listens;
Today I am attending a Vision Day for a leading charity at the request of a colleague who works with them as a business coach and will not be in the country. For this specific event, my context today is simple, to listen.
I’ll then be meeting the CEO of the charity the following week to listen to her reflections, at which point I will see what reflections I have, and what dots I may be able to connect from all of that listening, both on the day and to the CEO when meeting them 1:1 a few days later.
When you run a key event for your business or organisation, do you have someone there from outside your organisation who is simply there to listen with an independent perspective? If not, what might be missed?
