I’m feeling a little restless with pent-up energy to give.
Yesterday morning I wrote “Always active, never busy“, nothing that I feel a little too quiet right now (despite consciously structuring work and life to be “always active, every busy”!).
I then went up to London, first seeing my wonderful Feldenkrais practitioner (see a blog from a few years ago about them: “What I learned from a master practitioner“) to whom I noted that I did feel things had got a little quiet for me, that I was feeling a little restless. They reflected that I do have a lot of energy in me, so perhaps I could see to take on more this winter.
I then had lunch with a close business contact who can’t really take on any more at work as they are having to turn a lot of their energy and attention to supporting and caring for an older family member at a really challenging later life condition.
From all of that, I recognised, as I walked back through the City on a gorgeous sunny day, that I am in a phase of life where I am fortunate enough to be in a life phase where I have no such demands on my time from family or otherwise.
So, time for me to adjust, as I do have lots of energy and so want to take on more this winter. I’m therefore now open to taking on a few more clients and mentees.
