Fashion is fleeting, style is permanent.
Fashion is fleeting, style is permanent.
I love this LI post from Mark Hogarth. Times change, quality endures. Much of my family heritage is from the Isle of Lewis, home of Harris Tweed, the oldest brand in the world protected by law. I adore my tweed jacket, particularly the “orb mark” in the lining.
I feel to link this to leadership and business. In our current space of uncertainty in the world, I encourage you to focus on what you ARE certain of, what you know is “permanent” in who you are, what you and your business bring to your customers or clients, what your strengths and assets are.
I just had a call with a client about this and focussing and reflecting on this really alleviated their feelings around uncertainty.
Oh, and I encourage you to learn about the power of the Harris Tweed brand, and perhaps even invest in an heirloom piece of clothing.
